What ho chaps!
I am looking for ideas of how to depict the fact that my chaps have "dug in "on the tabletop rather than just a marker.
Anyone using anything interesting/inspiring?

Maybe some sort of 2d template you could print out, cut out, paste on cardboard, and then place on the map where your troops have dug in?

Use the Warlord Games plastic WW2 infantry top half's and build up emplacement around them with sand bags or using foam board.

ive been thinking about this one for the Newark game- given the nature of terrain. Only idea ive had so far is a wide lolly stick terrained with piles of raised earth that could be placed in front of each unit dug in

I have plans for a sheet of corrugated plasticard I bought a while ago. Going to make small dug in sections with the plasticard on the inside holding the earth back. Each one will be like the front half of a trench wide enough for a few figures...

Fantascape have some dug in markers on Facebook.

They look like 15mm but the large tank ones look useful.
