Hi,

Just started painting these yesterday and today. Trying something a bit new with the white from a buff starting point. Pretty pleased with the feedback so far over at WD3 and thought I might as well post them here too.

Is it only me or does the guy on the left look like one of the thunderbirds?

They seem to be coming along very nicely; I think the buff undercoat for the white is working well, it gives them a more crumpled, authentic look in my humble opinion!

I have started using the same technique for haversacks on my British Redcoats.

Al the best,

Agreed. these are looking very nice indeed. The off-white is a process I routinely use and does give a much more 'authentic' lok, in my opinion.
